Antique Hand Painted Porcelain Tazza / Comport Turquoise Gilt Harbour Scene

Beautiful antique porcelain tazza / comport / pedestal dish, decorated with a hand-painted coastal harbour scene featuring a boat by the water. The piece has a lovely raised pedestal form with a bright turquoise border, ornate gilt detailing, and decorative scenic panels to the underside.

This is a charming decorative antique piece, ideal as a cabinet display item, centrepiece, or collectible porcelain display stand. The hand-painted scene, turquoise ground, and gilded border give it a very elegant Victorian / 19th-century style look.

There is age-related wear throughout, including some rubbing to the gilt decoration and areas of fading/loss to the turquoise ground, mainly on the underside edge/rim. This gives the piece an authentic antique character while still displaying beautifully from the front.
