Beautiful vintage 1950s copper water pitcher / watering can designed by Gunnar Ander for Ystad-Metall, Sweden. The piece is clearly marked Ystad-Metall Made in Sweden on the base and has a lovely Scandinavian mid-century design, with a tall polished copper body, long curved pouring spout, and woven cane/rattan-wrapped handle.
This is a striking decorative piece with elegant sculptural lines and a warm copper finish.
